Ozark Action, Inc. Workforce Development Center provides a wide range of services, funded by the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. We serve individuals by providing employment and training services which
result in long term career placement.
Core Services are available to everyone accessing a One- Stop Center. A few of the Core Services offered include: Orientation, Job Search and Placement, and Work Preparedness Workshops.
Intensive Services are provided to customers to assist them in completing an educational program or to secure and hold employment. Intensive Services include: Individualized
Counseling and Career Planning, Case Management, Supportive Services, Mentoring Services, Tutoring and Study Skills Training, Leadership Development Activities, Work Experience, Missouri Dislocated Worker, and Welfare-to Work.
You may inquire about Workforce Development services by contacting the central Ozark Action, Inc. office in West Plains or one of the Community Service Outreach
offices in your area. A representative is also available at the Missouri Career Center in West Plains Monday through Friday.
